The Little Wolf Designs of ‘Now’

As of 2026, LWD kits are available in shops around York, including The Outside In, Duttons for Buttons, and Criminally Good Books. These shops are all near and dear to my heart. Plants, sewing, and books! So remember to give them a visit if you’re in the area! My dream is to expand enough to make LWD my full-time job, and every kit purchased so far is helping me make that dream a reality. Thank you all so much for joining me on this adventure!

Creative Endeavors

Embroidery is by no means my only creative outlet. My time away from LWD is often spent with my nose in a book, at my sewing machine, wandering the countryside, or writing. My name is Ashley. I’m the owner, maker, and designer here at Little Wolf Designs.

I was born and raised in North Yorkshire in England. I have a huge love of the outdoors and everything handmade. Not to mention costumes, textiles, and books.

I started Little Wolf from the bedroom in my family’s flat when I was 18. When I opened my online shop, it was purely a resource to fund my costume projects. Back then, the shop was called Little Wolf Cosplay.

From 2018 I ran LWC from the studio flat I lived in above a dressmaker’s shop. I learnt a lot of my trade during that time, and living there allowed me to branch LWC from a hobby into to a fully stocked Etsy business.

In 2023, after moving again, I was lucky enough to have a dedicated studio where I could work more efficiently. I rebranded to Little Wolf Designs and offically switched from cosplay to embroidery.
